“Gmacgaming” banked a cool $43,077 on KO Series Day 5 courtesy of shipping the KO Series #24-HR: $150K Gtd [Mix-Max Fast] title.
A field of 145 players bought in for $1,050 and it was gmacgaming who was the last player standing. The tournament’s champion claimed the $18,792 first-place prize and boosted that impressive sum with $24,285 worth of bounty payments.
Each of the six players at the final table netted more than $3,000 for their effort. Netherlands’ “Hahaha_Owned” busted in sixth-place for $3,095 plus $520 from the bounty prize pool. They were followed the rail by “MOTHERSMATTERS”, “isawthedevil” and “Jeff7010” of Ireland.
This left gmacgaming and “TheBlack_Sheep” to lock horns heads-up and it was the former who emerged victorious, resigning TheBlack_Sheep to the $12,682 consolation prize and $9,368 worth of bounties.
KO Series #23-HR: $200K Gtd [8-Max]
- Buy-in: $530

- Prize pool: $200,000
- Place paid: 48
Another big event yesterday was the $530 buy-in KO Series #23-HR: $200K Gtd [8-Max] that saw 361 players battle for a share of $200,000. The top 48 players were paid prize money, but dozens more scooped some cash thanks to the progressive bounty element of these KO Series tournaments.
It was “andstar555” who claimed the lion’s share of the prize pool after defeating “megustaestrecha” heads-up for the title. Andstar555 banked $20,416 for first-place and an additional $18,469 from the bounty prize pool. Our runner-up walked away with $3,260 worth of bounty payments in addition to the $14,733 they won for finishing second.
Two other players netted five-figure scores. Fourth-placed “GettinDaize” won a shade more than $10,000 when bounties are considered. They secured $7,314 for their fourth-place finish, a sum boosted by $2,899 from the bounty prize pool.
Third-place finisher “wisimaki” locked up $5,795 worth of bounties in addition to the $10,208 they collected from the main prize pool.

“mmmmRektUWillBe” is more than $26,000 richer than yesterday thanks to taking down the KO Series #18-H: $200K Gtd [8-Max] event. When bounties are included, mmmmRektUWillBe secured $26,754 for their $109 investment.
A special mention has to go to the runner-up, the United Kingdom’s “dotcotton1939” as they bagged $4,048 worth of bounty payments so must have assumed the role of executioner during the event. Unfortunately for them, they couldn’t get their hands on the bounty of mmmmRektUWillBe and had to make so with the $14,066 consolation prize.
